Our review
The Bad Seed cannot find a show-stopping costume and tries to postpone Halloween for everyone rather than tolerate being ordinary. The approaching deadline forces him to recognize how perfectionism has turned into control of other people’s fun.
Choose it for costume pressure or competitive holiday feelings, not as a general Halloween primer. Spooky Pookie also struggles to choose, but receives patient room to decide; this story is sharper about entitlement and recovering from the urge to ruin an event.
