Our review
Albie's learning is framed through Elmo, a character many toddlers already treat as a trusted guide. More than thirty flaps distribute attention across the sturdy board pages, making the book usable during a long sit and giving restless hands a job beyond listening.
A Potty for Me! ties each flap to one narrator's resistance, accident, retries and eventual pride. P Is for Potty! offers more tactile activity and franchise familiarity, but that abundance can compete with the sequence being taught. It is strongest for an Elmo-motivated child, not as a universal first explanation.
