Time to Pee!

Sign-carrying mice announce the body signal and guide the child through stopping play, reaching the toilet, undressing, using it, wiping, dressing, flushing and washing. The visual coaches turn a private routine into a readable sequence.
Time to Pee! by Mo Willems is estimated to take about 4 minutes to read aloud (250 words, 1 sentence a spread). Best for ages 2-4.

Our review
The mice function like a portable set of bathroom signs. Their instructions begin before the toilet—with noticing and stopping—and continue after it through clothes, paper, flushing and hands. That coverage makes the book useful for sequencing, especially when an adult wants to point rather than repeat every direction.
Potty concentrates on Baby's uncertainty and the wait for a first success. Time to Pee! assumes the goal and breaks it into actions, so it offers less room for ambivalence but more practical independence. Once those actions are automatic, its coaching structure may have little narrative reason for repeat reading.
Before you buy it
Since this is designed as an instructional tool, it likely won't see much use once a child is fully potty trained.
