Our review

The playdate begins successfully when Llama and Nelly use blocks to build together. Conflict arrives around Fuzzy Llama, a particular comfort object rather than every toy: grabbing and pulling tears it, Mama repairs it, and the toy waits on the stairs until Llama is ready. That sequence gives an adult room to separate sharing from forced access to a prized possession.

Should I Share My Ice Cream? is the better alternative for a private decision made before the friend appears. Time to Share shows two children already negotiating space, ownership and damage under adult guidance. Its ending is hopeful, but the repaired toy should not be used to promise that every broken favorite can be restored.

Before you buy it

The repaired toy and quick return to play make the resolution unusually tidy. A child need not infer that every treasured object must be shared simply because ordinary play materials can be.
